About AmeliaPlex, Inc.
Simple Solutions for Complex Problem
Our Mission is to provide affordable products and services for improving
the quality of life and healthcare outcomes of patients with a variety
of medical needs.
AmeliaPlex, Inc. is a privately owned Florida corporation, founded in
1996 by Susan Torrico, a career pharmacist. The company's sole purpose
is creating, developing and marketing simple patient-focused compliance
systems that enable users to take medications properly.
Prototype hand held timer devices and reminder software were developed
by the Company and field tested in 1997. Shortly thereafter, Palm, Inc.
introduced the popular Palm Pilot hand held devices, which offered many
benefits. The medication reminder software was rewritten for the Palm
OS® platform in order to operate on hardware that is readily available
all over the world. OnTimeRx® is an award-winning Palm OS® application
that is widely recognized as the premier patient-focused solution for
managing medications. It is featured as a Personal Healthcare software
program on all major Palm software vendor sites.
OnCellRx™, the Company's latest venture, is a web-based ASP version of the trusted OnTimeRx® reminder concept. This cellphone and pager notification service provides another affordable tool to improve quality of life and healthcare outcomes in keeping with the mission of AmeliaPlex, Inc.
